Handmade Tea and Box

I made this for my boyfriend for Christmas this year.

The teas are all bulk loose leaves which I gathered and placed into individual baggies.

I wrapped each one with hemp and attached a cut-out label.

I painted the box with aspen trees and a little bird.

Feathers, fabric and more hemp for the finishing touch.

how do you make tea bags?

I just bought loose leaf tea in bulk and individual tea packets from some tea store in town. If you can't find tea packets I'm sure any sort of organic cloth with larger pores would work, like cheese cloth.

I am so jealous of your idea! My sister loves teas and this would have been perfect for her for Christmas.
