Halloween

This Halloween I was a deer, it was a super simple costume to do and I think it turned out really well! I did my face using my regular MAC make-up, painted white spots on an old brown dress of mine and paired it with brown tights, white socks, and black wedges. I sculpted my antlers out of clay, painted them brown, and crazy glued them to a headband.

This is what I wore to drink mojitos, then go shopping for work clothes. I am a fan of socks and sandals - I'll blame it on being from the west coast.

Yellow Tights

There is nothing I love more than tights. And even more so, obnoxious bright colours like mustard yellow! I highly suggest everyone needs at least one pair of bright tights in their wardrobe.

Summer Fashion Inspiration

So spring has been approaching rapidly, just a few weeks ago I noticed little orange flowers beginning to bloom in the park.



Anticipating the warm weather I went home, went through my closet and dug out all my summer clothes only to wake up to a blizzard this morning. So in celebrating of almost-summer, and to help ward off this snow, I'm dedicating this entry to a summer fashions post.

Spring is approaching and it's making me excited. It has been extremely sunny the last few days so I'm starting to pull my spring-summer wardrobe out from the depths of my closet. I even wore sunglasses yesterday.

Not particularly summery, but definitely a step up from the 13 layers of sweaters and scarves I've adorned all winter. I was even able to get away with knee-highs instead of full leggings.

I also recently purchased a pair of raspberry doc martens for only eight dollars.
